The shit HAS hit the fan people….
Forget the Kavanaugh senate confirmation ….
First we have Woodward spilling the beans on the trump out of reality presidency
Now we have a second source saying the same thing in of all place’s…. the NY Times!
The focus for Trump loyalists and supporters will be to find the author of the Op-Ed…
To change the focus from just how fucked up a White House we have now….To who ‘ratted’ on the President ?….
As the ‘person’ says in the Times?
They are worried because they see the problem up CLOSE….
I Am Part of the Resistance Inside the Trump Administration
…’I work for the president but like-minded colleagues and I have vowed to thwart parts of his agenda and his worst inclinations.’..
The Times today is taking the rare step of publishing an anonymous Op-Ed essay. We have done so at the request of the author, a senior official in the Trump administration whose identity is known to us and whose job would be jeopardized by its disclosure. We believe publishing this essay anonymously is the only way to deliver an important perspective to our readers. We invite you to submit a question about the essay or our vetting process here.
President Trump is facing a test to his presidency unlike any faced by a modern American leader.
It’s not just that the special counsel looms large. Or that the country is bitterly divided over Mr. Trump’s leadership. Or even that his party might well lose the House to an opposition hellbent on his downfall.
The dilemma — which he does not fully grasp — is that many of the senior officials in his own administration are working diligently from within to frustrate parts of his agenda and his worst inclinations.
I would know. I am one of them.
To be clear, ours is not the popular “resistance” of the left. We want the administration to succeed and think that many of its policies have already made America safer and more prosperous.
But we believe our first duty is to this country, and the president continues to act in a manner that is detrimental to the health of our republic.
That is why many Trump appointees have vowed to do what we can to preserve our democratic institutions while thwarting Mr. Trump’s more misguided impulses until he is out of office.
The root of the problem is the president’s amorality. Anyone who works with him knows he is not moored to any discernible first principles that guide his decision making……
Note…
It is my belief that sooner or later the author of the piece WILL HAVE to be revealed to prove that the NY Times did NOT just make up a ‘person’….
Donald Trump IS having a BAD few weeks….
Some people are looking at Pence people as possibly trying to force Trump out also…
The conspiracy theories are just getting warm…

Told ya so….
….“President Trump and his aides reacted with indignation Wednesday to an unsigned opinion column from a senior official blasting the president’s ‘amorality’ and launched a frantic hunt for the author, who claims to be part of a secret ‘resistance’ inside the government protecting the nation from its commander in chief,” the Washington Post reports.
“Trump reacted to the column with ‘volcanic’ anger and was ‘absolutely livid’ over what he considered a treasonous act of disloyalty, and told confidants he suspects the official works on national security issues or in the Justice Department.”
“The column sent tremors through the West Wing and launched a frantic guessing game. Startled aides canceled meetings and huddled behind closed doors to strategize a response. Aides were analyzing language patterns to try to discern author’s identity, or at a minimum the part of the administration where the author works.”…..

Is the NY Times Op-Ed…or…even Woodward’s book a soft ‘coup’?
…If you believe that Trump does not have the judgment and temperament for office—not a difficult conclusion to draw—this is a win of a sort. Yet the actions described in the book and in the op-ed are extremely worrying, and amount to a soft coup against the president. Given that one of Trump’s great flaws is that he has little regard for rule of law, it’s hard to cheer on Cabinet members and others openly thwarting Trump’s directives, giving unelected officials effective veto power over the elected president….

( I think the above IS PURE BULL SHIT)

President Trump on Wednesday lashed out at The New York Times in a tweet over the paper’s publishing an op-ed by an anonymous Trump administration official.
Hours after the piece was published, Trump questioned whether the official exists and demanded that the paper turn the author over to the government, saying it is a national security issue.
“Does the so-called “Senior Administration Official” really exist, or is it just the Failing New York Times with another phony source?” he tweeted. “If the GUTLESS anonymous person does indeed exist, the Times must, for National Security purposes, turn him/her over to government at once!”….

I’m still trying to determine what you “told” us.

The mole hunt is ON!
Or should I say the they are looking for the whistle blower or the person who has ‘ratted out’ their boss?
Democratic Socialist Dave says
Someone may appear at the next Cabinet meeting or press conference minus a tongue….
jamesb says
Or there may be reports of people being crushed as the Trump people overturn EVERY Rock and Stone in their search….
jamesb says
Oh Snap!….
Maybe Trump will ask Putin for help?
Keith2018 says
My question too Jack, I would have never known that a hunt is on for the author if James hadn’t told us.
Now if the Republican Congress will only do something, oh never mind.
jamesb says
He, he, he….
Wasn’t just me….
But I DID quest Trump’s people would try to change the subject to the hunt , NOT the fact that the country is being run by a staff afraid of it’s crazy assed boss and a Congress that has NO balls to correct the problem because they’d rather have the knucklehead there….
Democratic Socialist Dave says
Well, James, I think you just don’t understand —
Which, after all, is more important to the safety of the Republic::
The so-called “dangers” of leaving the country in the hands of an impulsive, ignorant, low-IQ lunatic;
or
the demonstrated TREASON of the failing New York Times and its cowardly contributor ?
