Now we see that they where NOT the only one’s who had the problem….
James Comey made sure to write notes after talking to Trump….
Michael Cohen, Trump’s own bagman/lawyer taped him ….
And now we find out Omarosa Manigault-Newman, another Trump insider also taped the guy….
No wonder Trump’s lawyers doing NOT want him to sit down with Mueller and his people….
With the news that former celebrity White House staffer Omarosa Manigault-Newman apparently taped Donald Trump during his presidency, anti-Trump Republican campaign professional Liz Mair wants to know whypeople close to Trump keep taping him.
I suspect she knows the answer, but it’s actually worth going over some of the obvious reasons as they show what is different about this president and why it matters.
The most obvious one is that Trump can’t be counted on to tell the truth, so people tape him to protect themselves. That’s also why his lawyers say they meet with him in pairs.
Is anyone really surprised, for example, that Omarosa is betraying Trump and using her brief White House stint to enrich herself at his expense? Or, for that matter, that Trump lawyer Michael Cohen is looking out for himself at this point? It’s not just them…..

Secret tapes. Nondisclosure agreements. A lot of name calling.
The revelations surrounding Omarosa Manigault Newman’s new memoir, and the ensuing fallout, are underscoring a level of dysfunction many now see as just part of life under President Donald Trump.
On Monday, the former senior aide revealed a recording she’d made of the President phoning her on the day after she was fired. Earlier, Manigault Newman released a tape of chief of staff John Kelly doing the firing in the White House Situation Room.
Neither contained outwardly embarrassing language. But the tapes’ mere existence confirmed a longstanding reality: in Trump’s White House, there are few norms or expectations of decorum that cannot be shattered.
Now, aides are wondering who else might be using a recording device to capture audio from private conversations. And they are girding for Manigault Newman to release more of her tapes, which she has teased at in a string of television interviews…..
