The Labor Department today finalized regulations that will expand access to “association health plans,” allowing small businesses and individuals to band together and buy insurance as if they were a large company.
Why it matters: This regulation implements part of President Trump’s most recent executive order on health care, which was designed to shift people out of Affordable Care Act coverage.
