While Stephen Curry had a cold night?
Durant and the rest of the squad brought homw a win to put the Golden State Warriors on track to gain a second NBA title in two consecutive years….
Basketball is a team sport….
As good as Lebron James is?
He cannot do everything alone…
In Kevin Durant, the Warriors have a player who almost single-handedly can wipe away a team’s imperfections. It doesn’t matter if two of the best shooters in the world can’t shoot straight when Durant is nailing off-kilter jumpers over multiple defenders.
In Golden State’s 110-102 win over the Cavaliers on Wednesday night in Game 3 of the NBA Finals, Durant was at his did-he-just-do-that best, delivering a 43-point, 13-rebound, seven-assist gem to lift his team within one victory of its third league championship in four years.
Before Cleveland tries to avoid a series sweep Friday, it must mull over yet another wasted opportunity. On a night Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson went a combined 7-for-27 from the field and 3-for-15 from three-point range, Durant made sure the Warriors had all they needed: a chance come crunch time….
