The support is actually getting STRONGER in swing states as more becomes public of the shenanigans involved…..
This from a Republican generated poll……
Firehouse Strategies, a Republican firm, partnered with the data analytics team at Optimus to interview 2,486 likely midterm voters in four swing states (Florida, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin), and found that “the Mueller investigation is gaining credibility among independent voters.”
Also….
A Majority of Americana across the board support the Mueller / Trump investigations and want them to contiune witghout interference from Trump in any firings by Trump of the investigators….
While a majority of Americans (54%) support continuing the special counsel’s Russia probe, that support level is down slightly from 60% about two months ago. Currently, 43% say the investigation should end (compared with 37% who said the same in March).
Even though support for the investigation is down slightly, most Americans feel that special counsels should have some protections if they are fired. Specifically, 57% say that a special counsel should be able to appeal to a panel of federal judges who would decide if there is just cause for the firing or if the counsel should remain in that post. Just 27% oppose this measure, which is included in the bipartisan Special Counsel Independence and Integrity Act that recently passed the Senate Judiciary Committee. Another 16% have no opinion. Most Democrats (71%) and independents (58%) support providing this type of protection for special counsels, but Republicans are divided (39% support and 43% oppose)….
Note….
Robert Mueller has NOT held one news conference, eh?
