The two are in a (early?) pissing match….
Joe Biden says he can take’m…..
President Donald Trump on Thursday called former Vice President Joe Biden “weak, both mentally and physically,” suggesting he could easily beat up Biden, in response to the former vice president’s comment that he would have sought to fight Trump over his remarks about women if the two were in high school together.
“Crazy Joe Biden is trying to act like a tough guy. Actually, he is weak, both mentally and physically, and yet he threatens me, for the second time, with physical assault,” Trump wrote on Twitter Thursday morning. “He doesn’t know me, but he would go down fast and hard, crying all the way. Don’t threaten people Joe!”
Biden’s remarks came earlier this week at the University of Miami, where he reiterated to students comments he had made on the 2016 campaign trail after the publication of Trump’s “Access Hollywood” tape, wherein the current president can be heard bragging about how his celebrity status allowed him to sexually assault women without consequence.
“A guy who ended up becoming our national leader said, ‘I can grab a woman anywhere and she likes it,'” Biden said last Tuesday, according to ABC News. “They asked me if I’d like to debate this gentleman, and I said ‘no.’ I said, ‘If we were in high school, I’d take him behind the gym and beat the hell out of him.'”
Biden has kept up his criticism of Trump since leaving office early last year, stoking talk that he might launch a White House bid in 2020 to unseat him….

Biden is in good shape for his age, while Trump is in terrible shape. Biden would kick Trump’s butt if the two of them were to fight.

Democratic Socialist Dave says
Donald Trump, according to The World Almanac, was born in June 1946, the same year as Bill Clinton and George W. Bush, meaning they will all turn (or have turned) 72 this year. Hillary Clinton was born in 1947, and Joe Biden in November 1942 (making him 75 right now).
Joe Biden, as I recall, made very similar remarks about locker rooms and fighting behind the school gym during the 2016 campaign.
jamesb says
Was Joe a boxer?
jamesb says
On the topic of going down hard, Biden leads Trump 54-40 on the average of our last three national polls….
PPP Polls….
CG says
I think Senator Sasse has it right that it is embarrassing to the country, at a time when serious issues are before us, that both our “crazy uncles” are having a fistfight in the backyard.
CG says
Let these two morons meet in the Octagon if they want and let’s have a grown-up in the Oval Office.
Scott P says
More false equivalency.
Biden is 1000 tines the man Trump is.
As for Sasse he is like all the other Republicans when it comes to Trump–spineless.
CG says
I don’t think you know much about Sasse
Scott P says
Sure I do. He’s”troubled” by Trump
Then votes in lockstep to advance his agenda and peddles this false equivalency crap.
Very Republican
My Name Is Jack says
Donald Trump has said more cringe worthy things in one week than Joe Biden has said in his entire career.
And that is saying something as Biden is well known for his gaffes.
CG says
So, I guess the 2018-2020 strategy will be, “when they go low, we go lower.”
And Biden had one of the all time doozies when he put on a mock accent and told an African-American audience in 2012 that Mitt Romney “wants to put y’all in chains.”
CG says
Somehow I am in rare moderation now..
So, I guess the 2018-2020 strategy will be, “when they go low, we go lower.”
CG says
Also, the other part of my post, was that in 2012, Biden had one of the all time political disgraces when he put on a fake accent and told an African-American audience that Mitt Romney wanted to put them in chains.
CG says
The other part of my post is again getting put into moderation.
I was trying to recount how in 2012, Biden said one of the most shameful things ever said at a political rally.
My Name Is Jack says
If he is the Democratic nominee ,you can vote for Trump.
Apparently you find Biden’s “shameful thing said at a political rally” worse than the daily diet coming out of the White House.
CG says
I would never vote for Biden or Trump.
Scott P says
Yeah if Biden is the nominee CG will say he has to “begrudgingly” vote for the likely Republican nominee Trump.
My Name Is Jack says
You would never vote for any Democrat.
So spare us the suspense.
Indeed, despite your personal dislike of Trump ,you would rather see him President than any Democrat prominently mentioned as a presidential candidate.
Why shouldn’t you?
You are a Republican.
CG says
I’ve spoken here about Democrats I would vote for in discussion of recent or current races: Doug Jones, Dan Lipinksi, (maybe) Conor Lamb, just to name a few, and why I would vote for them in those circumstances.
I have stated why I would have been willing to vote for Chuck Schumer or Ben Cardin, or others, for President over Donald Trump in 2016.
There are certainly Democrats I would be able to theoretically vote for to be President, putting aside things that are important to me, just to oppose Donald Trump, but yes, the Democrats are so far to the extreme that it is nearly impossible they will nominate someone for President that I can vote for.
CG says
“you would rather see him President than any Democrat prominently mentioned as a presidential candidate.”
Now, this is not even true, as the HHR Trump apologists will always remind me.
If I was actually watching debates “rooting” for someone as horrible as Hillary Clinton (and willing to bet a large sum of money that she would win), you can be sure I had reached the conclusion that I wanted Trump to lose above all else.
I have spoken about all this before jack, so I just have to wonder if you have cognitive issues or are just basically a liar when it suits your purposes.
My Name Is Jack says
Yes we all remember how you voted for Hillary Clinton?
Wait a minute!
You didn’t did you?Voted for some Republican Right?
Ah but you were “rooting” for her.
Hahaha!
What a pile of manure
CG says
I never claimed I voted for Hillary Clinton. She was completely and totally, ethically, morally, and ideologically unacceptable to me, same as Trump. She also was going to win my state handily regardless of what I did.
But that doesn’t mean that I didn’t want him to lose, above all else.
Turn off the black and white in your brain and enter the land of Oz.
My Name Is Jack says
You don’t get it do you?
I don’t believe that.
However, if others wish to that’s up to the
Just like claiming you vote for the very liberal Ben Cardin for President. Then, claiming the Democrats are too “extreme.”Presumably Cardin is one of those extremists.
These disingenuous claims by you are simply laughable.
Yeah you would have voted for Ben Cardin,an “extremist.”
Laughable, even in Is!
CG says
I have talked here several times about how I would have voted for Ben Cardin against Trump, even though I have a lot of disagreements with Cardin.
The reason I stated was that opposition to the Iran Nuclear Deal is a litmus test for me. Cardin (and others, such as Schumer opposed it), which is why I would have voted for Cardin against Trump in 2016, whether you believe me or not.
My Name Is Jack says
So ,despite Cardins very liberal voting record, (“extremist”in your eyes), because of his stand on that one issue, you would have voted for him?
You’re right…
I don’t believe that.
My Name Is Jack says
I would also note that Trump agrees with you on that issue.
And further agrees with you on most issues, many more so than Cardin, who likely would disagree with you on about everything else.
But you would still vote for Cardin eh?
Yeah,Righhhhht!
CG says
Yes, against Trump I would have voted for Cardin. Not against “normal” Republicans obviously. I’ve stated so many times and for the reasons given.
What do I have to gain from lying about something like that?
Furthermore, Cardin comes across as a decent person to me, despite disagreements on issues.
My Name Is Jack says
Oh really?
That’s why you were criticizing Democrats here who were for Connor Lamb because they disagreed with him on one or two issues as being somehow hypocritical?
I’ll remember that next time you throw that type of garbage out here.I will remind you of your so called “support” for Ben Cardin, whom you apparently regard as an extremist(see your post@4:45) as his voting record is comparable to Senate Democrats as a whole.
CG says
Yes, the Lamb hypocrisy came from how they were over the top opposed to Republicans as unacceptably taking the same position as Lamb.
It doesn’t equate in any way, shape, or form.
CG says
Perhaps it is too many Coors today jack, but you seem to not grasp the concept of my theoretical vote for Cardin that it would be a vote against Trump as the motivation.
Trump is a special case for me, but keep deluding yourself into thinking I’m some sort of secret Trump supporter.
I would and have certainly “supported” other Republicans against Cardin. But you are a dottering fool if you think I am somehow “lying” about the specific hypothetical situation I mentioned.
My Name Is Jack says
Oh it’s exactly the same..
Cardins issue stands are indistinguishable from almost all Senate Democrats that you have labeled “extremists.”
Yet you “claim” you would have supported him for Presideny.
Your obfuscations grow more and more desperate and comical.
CG says
It would only be similar if I stated I would support Cardin against a generic Republican type. Clearly, I would not.
Against Trump though, I would have. Same with voting for Schumer against Trump and I really dislike Schumer. This is nothing I have not said on here several times for nearly a year now. Today though, for whatever reason, this is triggering you.
My Name Is Jack says
Being called a “dottering fool” by a Republican tribalist like you is a mark of which any man may be proud.
I accept your characterization with thanks and pride.
CG says
Pee Wee Herman is probably 1000 times the man than Trump is, but I am sorry, it is an alternative universe, where a former Vice President should be applauded for engaging in a public fantasy about physically harming anyone, let alone the sitting President of the United States, regardless of how bad a person that President is, and regardless of the fact that all parties knew that person would not be able to resist foolishly responding in kind.
When we live in a society where people are shooting at Congressmen at a baseball field and kids are being murdered in High Schools over petty grudges, this kind of thing has no place based on the messages both “leaders” send.
My Name Is Jack says
If aRepublican had said what Biden said.
This wouldn’t have merited amention.
I like your analysis though.
The Republican President Of the United States lacks such self control that no one should say anything bad about him because he can’t help himself.
CG says
If a Republican said about Obama, what Biden said, it would be a huge story, and that Republican would be just as shameful.
People got all bent out of shape because of the body language that Governor Jan Brewer was using towards Obama in a private conversation, as if she was some kind of threat to him.
My Name Is Jack says
I didn’t get bent out of shape about it.
Nor do I believe that you (or anyone else for that matter) believes Biden is a physical threat to Trump.
Of course it’s always good for you Republicans to bring up anything so as not to talk about the present occupant of the White House.
CG says
Biden is not a physical threat to Trump, but a whole lot of other people are, and conversely a whole lot of people are a physical threat to Biden too.
We don’t need to be trivializing violence like this or engaging in public fantasies about it and that certainly applies to the sick Tweets and images Trump has used about CNN and journalists.
Both men are in their 70s and should just shut up.
My Name Is Jack says
Probably they should.
Zreebs says
You amaze me the things that bother you. Why are you not instead concerned about important things such as, oh, Russia interfering in our elections – even if that might mean you make a post criticizing your fellow Republicans.
CG says
I’ve spoken quite often about Russia. Over on the other blog, they say I am “obsessed” with it.
Trump and Biden both embarrassed themselves with this foolishness.
Keith says
The whole Biden “is an embarrassment” meme is trending on right wing media. Our friend Corey sure is trendy. Amazing what he selectively chooses to be outraged about while the Country goes to hell.
I wish Ben Sasse had the credentials to be Uncle Joe’s critic, but alas he has never cast a vote against “the Bully-in-Chief,” not once.
These Republicans, real profiles in courage.,
jamesb says
The 2020 Presidential campaign begins, eh?
Biden seems to be going right at Trump’s ego…
RepubliCAN says
Yes, it is embarrassing and idiotic. No surprise though – drunken uncle Joe is a gaffe machine, serial groper, and two time presidential failure. The Dems could do better than him, but I’m guessing we’re looking at a trump 2nd term the way things are going…..
My Name Is Jack says
With your vote of course.
Yeah yeah,we know you don’t wanna do it but, after all, there’s them damn “libruls” and the “media” to worry about!
Keith says
Much ado of course. This isn’t the first time Joe Biden has said the “take behind the…” thing. Odd that this somehow becomes an issue of public safety when a young right wing extremist has been blowing people up in Texas.
But, I would rather have Biden’s response to Trump than Ted Cruz’s response. Trump called Ted’s wife a skank and said his father killed JFK, and Ted endorsed the Orange piece of shit.
I don’t remember any concern for public safety when Trump was asking his supporters to beat people up.
My Name Is Jack says
Yes and Ted was CGs fall back candidate for President.
But you know CG….
He is for “decency” in politics.
CG says
Ted Cruz was far down on my list, as I think you know, despite what you want to be dishonest about here, but of course I would have voted for him against Hillary. Not even a question. Trump, definitely not.
My Name Is Jack says
Like I say,you are for “decency” in politics.
What a damn joke.
Yeah there is somebody being “dishonest” here,go stare in the mirror.
CG says
Are you still going to insist that you would have voted for George W. Bush over Dennis Kucinich in a hypothetical.
I clearly believed you were lying about that.
Anonymous says
I’ll never vote for trump. Looks like I’ll be casting a protest vote for president again, as the Dems can’t find a decent candidate to vote against the clown. No goofy gaffe goober uncles or left-wing nut jobs for me, thank you very much.
As for Ted Cruz, he’s young still. He’s got a long career ahead of him as a thorn in the side of the radical Democrat left!
Keith says
Ted still young? Old enough to stand up for his wife.
Zreebs says
I love how RepubliCAN was a big supporter of the child rapist Moore, but now he complains about Biden groping – presumably because of those clips where he touched a women’s shoulders. Evangelicals have a self-serving moral code that only they can understand (but can’t explain).
RepubliCAN says
Well, speaking of false equivalencies! – especially since Moore was innocent
Keith says
Define innocent!
Zreebs says
Well Moore sure acted like he was guilty – first saying he knew the women and then saying he did not. But I genuinely don’t think you care what is the truth. Even if you ignore the way Moore acted, you still have multiple women making accusations – one who lost her home as a result.
Keith says
Roy was banned from a mall in Alabama for stalking little girls.
Oh how I wish he would run for office again. The face of the Republican Party.
jamesb says
He was having trouble with raising money for his legal problems…
CG says
Little girls aren’t supposed to sign campaign petitions either.
Zreebs says
Little girls shouldn’t try to recruit other conservatives to shut down blogs that allow and encourage free speech
jamesb says
RepubiCAN makes an appearance!
Maybe NYCmike?
CG says

I’ve said the same thing about how I would have voted for Schumer against Trump, and I really dislike Schumer.
You have seen me say this several times for nearly a year now, but today it is triggering you.
CG says
Can’t get past moderation..
jamesb says
Ur up
Actually u are the least moderated
CG says
I wasn’t moderated at all from home. Today, it’s happening all the time, and I have to sign my name and email for each post.
What happened to the “log in” thing? I guess that is no more.
CG says
Even more so, since I said I would have been open to voting for Conor Lamb against Saccone (wouldn’t have voted for Saccone regardless) that shows how consistent I am on the matter regarding Trumpism and how foolish jack is being today by refusing to grasp the general concept.
Maybe he will be better at this tomorrow.
