As busy as Donald Trump is being president, he can’t avoid a lawsuit by a former “Apprentice” contestant who says he defamed her by calling her a liar after she accused him of sexual assault, a judge said.
The suit was filed in January 2017 in state court in Manhattan by Summer Zervos, a contender on The Apprentice in 2005 who alleges Trump “ambushed” her on more than one occasion starting in 2007, kissing her on the mouth, touching her breast and pressing his genitals against her….

I am opposed to this .I disagree with the Courts decision that asitting President (Clinton) can be deposed in a Civil lawsuit when there would be no irreparable harm to the complainant in such being held in abeyance until his time as President is over.
In my view this is simply encouraging litigants to file lawsuits even merit less ones just to depose a sitting President.
In the present case ,complainant has waited ten years to file this action.Apparently,there was no haste until Trump assumed the Presidency.

One of the things that is bothering me and i’m Sure others is the office of the President COULD just have a Axe murderer in it above the reach of the law

My post had nothing to do with criminal law.it had nothing to do with any criminal actions that Trump or any other President may or may not have committed.
I was addressing the issue of a civil lawsuit.
