The Special Counsel Robert Mueller and his group have been empowered to probe the 2016 election of Donald Trump for Russian interference AND to follow ANY criminal case that may arise from their investigations….
Almost anybody that worked in the mid to upper level of the Trump 2016 campaign and early admin has been question by the Mueller people…
Mueller has been in contact with Trump’s dwindling legal team on arranging a face to face questioning session with Donald Trump himself…
For now?
We have Paul Manafort defiantly trying to get a court to get him off the hook against numerous felony charges by saying Mueller can’t go after him….
The chances of this being success are remote to none….
Manafort seems’s dead set against cooperating with Mueller in contrast to several others charged and if convicted is going to be deep trouble…
One could think that Manafort is hoping Trump will view his holdout as a reason fro a pardon….
On another front…
It appears that John Dowd, the recently stepped down Trump attorney might have troubles of his own if reports are true that he was shopping around pardon’s from his client President Trump….

In separate stories on Thursday, news appeared about the relationship of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation as it concerns Attorney General Jefferson Sessions, and to Trump Campaign Chair Paul Manafort. What both of those stories show is that while Republicans on the House Intelligence Committee may have purposely looked away after deciding that they “really weren’t focused” on collusion between Russia and the Trump campaign, Robert Mueller really is focused on exactly that topic….
