Former President Barack Obama will reportedly appear at a fundraiser for Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-Mo.) in Beverly Hills on May 6, according to an invitation obtained by Politico that lists Obama as a special guest.
Why it matters: If Obama attends, it will mark his first fundraising event for an individual candidate since leaving office, according to Politico. Meanwhile, McCaskill is one of the most vulnerable Senate Democrats seeking reelection this year given President Trump won Missouri by double digits in 2016….
