President Trump on Friday announced that the Department of Justice (DOJ) would issue a new rule banning bump stocks.
In a tweet, Trump announced that he was directing DOJ to reverse a 2010 decision by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) that classified bump stocks as firearm parts so the devices could be banned under current laws that prohibit owning fully automatic weapons.
Trump blamed the legalization of bump stocks on the Obama administration.
“Obama Administration legalized bump stocks. BAD IDEA. As I promised, today the Department of Justice will issue the rule banning BUMP STOCKS with a mandated comment period. We will BAN all devices that turn legal weapons into illegal machine guns,” Trump tweeted….
Of course, over the 90-day comment period before this takes effect, the sales of bump stocks will soar.

But you previously insisted Hillary hardly talked about guns during her campaign. And you have also lectured us that Dems shouldn’t talk about guns. Does this mean that the NRA will not be silent regardless of whether the Dems talk about it or not?

2.) However, if elected, they should them do something about them(not defined).
3.)The Hell with the NRA.
4.)Fear the NRA.
5.)Adopt stringent gun control measures
6.)Americans love their guns.
7.)Gun control is a losing issue.
8.) Americans want something done about guns.
All of the above ,he has at one time mentioned here.It all adds up to just so much mindless ranting,a common feature of his “stands” on so many
Issues (besides guns, his frequent contradictory comments on Donald Trump and the Republican Party).

The STUDENTS have taken the lead and are MUCH MORE effective….
Florida, Trump on bump stocks…The continued media attention is NOT FROM Democrats….
It’s from the nations STUDENTS who ARE the victims increasingly….
May I point out that the spending bill just passed only increases money for enhanced background checks….
The main issue of assault weapons is NOT addressed…

The Second Amendment is NOT about everybody having the Right to own a gun…
It applied to militia’s when there wasn’t modern day police forces
