So Scooter Libby’s prosecution for lying later, was rather a stretch.

Don Blankenship and Al Sharpton both have blood on their hands (Sharpton’s untrue accusations during the Tawana Brawley disgrace drove someone to suicide).
Neither major party should allow these men to associate with it.
Al Sharpton did more than that. In an unrelated incident to the Brawley fiasco, he incited a riot in which Jews were targeted and murdered.
It is not my understanding that Sharpton incited a riot. I think a more accurate statement would be that Sharpton didn’t do what he needed to do and should have done to prevent the riot. And for that he deserves blame, but it is not the same as inciting a riot.
